Chabot Announces Endorsement of Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association

without comments

Inland Empire, CA – March 30, 2010 – 63rd assembly candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, announces the endorsement of the Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association (PPOA). Chabot is the only candidate in this assembly race to have worn a badge and fought alongside those in uniform, which he continues to do today.
“After careful consideration, Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association is proud to announce their endorsement of your election candidacy for the 63rd Assembly District,” said Brian Moriguchi, President.

PPOA represents more than 8,500 law enforcement professionals in the County of Los Angeles.

“I’m grateful for the continued strong support from my fellow law enforcement colleagues. Having served as a public safety officer in Los Angeles, and local communities in the Inland Empire, I know crime has no boundaries and I will fight in Sacramento for a safer California that does not look towards releasing criminals early as a way of saving money. Crooks must be held accountable. I will demand they earn their keep in our jails and prisons to pay for their incarceration,” said Chabot.

In addition to the Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association, Chabot has also been endorsed by the California Peace Officers’ Association, California Police Chiefs’ Association, California Narcotics Officers’ Association, Riverside Police Officers Association, Riverside Sheriffs Association and the San Bernardino School Police Officers Association.

LT Commander (s) Chabot, a former active duty special operations intelligence officer, is a leading candidate for the 63rd assembly district seat currently occupied by Assemblyman Bill Emmerson who will step down due to term limits. He lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife Brenda and their three children.

Inland Empire, CA – March 11, 2010 – 63rd assembly candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, announces the endorsement of Riverside Sheriffs’ Association (RSA). Chabot is the only candidate in this assembly race to have worn a badge and fought alongside those in uniform, which he continues to do today.

Pat McNamara, President of the Riverside Sheriffs Association stated, “Your unyielding commitment to public safety and law enforcement concerns, along with your devotion to the welfare of law enforcement professionals, including surviving family members, has made our decision an easy one.”

Chabot’s first year on patrol, he responded to a “999 officer down” call and was first on scene. He witnessed the death of an officer and the grief of a widow and her children at the funeral.  Protecting law enforcement, providing adequately for those left behind, and slamming the prison door on criminals is a long standing passion for Chabot.

“It’s an honor to have the continued support of law enforcement organizations. I am both thankful and grateful for the heartfelt endorsement from the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association. Having worn a law enforcement badge myself for nearly 15-years, I personally understand the dangers and challenges our fine men and women in uniform face,” said Chabot.

Riverside Sheriffs Association represents more than 3,200 Deputy Sheriffs, Correctional Deputies, District Attorney Investigators, Probation Officers and Deputy Coroners, nearly the entire Criminal Justice team for the County of Riverside.

The Riverside Sheriffs Association and Riverside Police Officers Association are serving on the Host Committee for a Paul Chabot fundraiser, April 1st, 5:30PM, at the Victoria Club in Riverside, CA.

Chabot Campaign Out in Force Recognizes Volunteers for Service “Beyond the Call of Duty”

without comments

Inland Empire, CA – March 1, 2010 – 63rd assembly candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, recognizes and thanks his volunteers for service “beyond the call of duty.”

Over 100 volunteers signed up for this past weekend’s Super Saturday campaign event and pre Tea Party “party”. Despite heavy rain, these great Americans walked precincts meeting voters and converged upon an intersection in Rancho Cucamonga to join the celebration of the one-year anniversary of the Tea Party.

“The hail, thunder, lighting and torrential downpour was pretty incredible. But I was more impressed by the dedication of our volunteers. They each deserve a medal for going beyond the call of duty,”  said Chabot.

Rancho Cucamonga Chief of Police Ron Bieberdorf (ret) and a regional Director for ACT, an organization fighting radical Islam, both helped to kick off the campaign precinct walk.

Francine McDermott, a school teacher said, “This is the first campaign I have ever volunteered for. It’s amazing. You can feel the energy. To be around so many like-minded people in one setting as large as this is a breath of fresh air.”
Kevin Mulligan, a small business owner who walked precincts stated, “LT Commander Chabot is the kind of leader we must elect. No longer can we accept typical politicians squeezing out our American heroes. We saw that happen when Obama was elected and we will not let that happen here at our local level. California must send a proven leader to Sacramento and only LT Commander Chabot has a record of truly fighting for you.”
