Inland Empire, CA – May 3, 2010. 63rd Assembly Candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, announces “Surge” in final weeks of campaign.
Chabot, who served in Iraq during the period known as the “Surge,” applies the same military tactic to his campaign during these final weeks to victory.
“This Saturday morning, our campaign launched a groundswell offensive to win over the hearts and minds of undecided voters. We will not take anything for granted, marching forward everyday as if it were our last until we reach victory on June 8th,” said Chabot.
The Chabot Surge began at 0700 hours on Saturday, DAY 1 with Operation Anchors Away.
Anchors Away, the first operation within the Surge brought forth an army of volunteers who put together hundreds of yard signs and then distributed them throughout the district. This true grassroots effort compiled countless number of Patriots, offering their time to build campaign signs and deliver them to the doors of voters. The Chabot Team did not outsource this job – they saved thousands of dollars by finding alternative ways to get the job done; the same tactic Chabot will apply in Sacramento when elected.
Anchors Away II, included volunteers hoisting 8 foot by 4 foot campaign signs in strategic locations throughout the district. The mobile command post was on full display this weekend transporting material and volunteers to the action.
Chabot Surge Campaign Sign “Anchors Away”

The Chabot Team is asking for $5 donation per yard sign. Signs can be delivered or picked up. Email chabot2010@paulchabot.com for your sign.
Other operations where lead by Campaign Manager Adam Sands, Senior Advisor Brenda Chabot, Deputy Campaign Manager Anthony Garcia, Deputy Campaign Manager Karen DeAquino and Deputy Campaign Manager Keith Paterson. These operations included phone banking, precinct walking and special event planning. Special thanks to the following groups who lead precinct walks this past weekend: University of California Riverside College Republicans, Inland Empire Veterans Coalition, Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.
Chabot personally helped build signs with the volunteers and hoisted them throughout the district during precinct walks. He thanked his staff, volunteers, fellows and interns for a job well done.
Chabot said, “I greatly appreciate our volunteers — you are the true boots-on-the-ground us military type refer to when we speak about those who are getting the job done. Without your devotion and passion, this entire effort would be for not. Thank you for standing by me – great things are happening, together we will cross that victory line and take your ideas and energy to help strengthen our conservative values in California so that we may restore our state to one in which we would all be proud to raise our families.”
On Saturday night, Chabot provided the keynote address to the Riverside Police Officers Association – annual Awards Gala. He spoke before a crowd of 300, including a number of dignitaries. Chabot spoke about the honor of being a law enforcement officer; recognized the spouses of department personnel; addressed drug cartels, gangs and dangerous policies of state mandated early prisoner release.

Chabot Endorsed by Conservative Assemblyman Jim Nielsen

without comments

Inland Empire, CA – April 26, 2010. 63rd Assembly Candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, announces endorsement from Conservative Assemblyman Jim Nielsen.

Assemblyman Jim Nielsen, who serves as the State Assembly Vice Budget Chair announced,” Paul Chabot is the kind of leader Sacramento needs. Paul’s background in law enforcement, both as an officer and Parole Board Commissioner, gives him the experience to keep our streets safe. As a naval intelligence officer in Iraq , Paul battled to keep America secure. As an Assemblyman, he will fight to reduce taxes and to stop out-of-control spending and waste. I fully support and endorse LT Commander Paul Chabot.”
In 1978, Jim Nielsen was elected from the North State to his first of three terms in the State Senate, where he served as Senate Republican Leader from 1983-1987. In the Senate, Jim quickly established himself as a tough-on-crime conservative who championed the cause for lower taxes. He continues those strong trends today as an Assemblyman for California’s 2nd District and Vice Chair for the Assembly’s Budget Committee.

Chabot stated, “I appreciate the trust Assemblyman Nielsen has for my candidacy. I clearly understand the battles that lie ahead for me in Sacramento and knowing that our party has esteemed leaders, like Assemblyman Nielsen already on the front lines, ensures we have a fighting chance to right this ship before it’s too late. I look forward to serving the people of California, alongside my conservative allies so that our children have a California worth growing up in.”

Chabot has also been endorsed by Conservative Assemblyman Steve Knight and Assemblyman Danny Gilmore. Earlier this month, Chabot received the majority vote support from the district’s conservative California Republican Assembly delegation.

Chabot Fights Drug Legalization Announces Plans on 4/20: A Date Used by Pro-Drug Organizations to Celebrate Marijuana

without comments

Inland Empire, CA – April 20, 2010. 63rd Assembly Candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, labeled by the pro-drug legalization lobby as a “Drug Warrior,” fights to defeat any and all efforts to legalize drugs in California.

April 20th (420), a date illegal drug users celebrate marijuana use, Chabot announces blueprint to fight drug use and legalization in California.

Chabot stated, “We have enough problems in California with alcohol and prescription drug abuse. Sadly, a fringe movement in California believes society would be better off if we simply legalize and legitimize illegal drugs. There could be no greater harm to our youth and communities if the pro-drug lobby in California has their way. I will continue to fight alongside parents, youth, teachers, cops, clergy and all others who are standing up against all efforts to degrade our neighborhoods and the minds of our children.”

Chabot is calling for:

1. Stepped up efforts to dismantle drug gangs and cartels
2. Increased Federal assistance to secure our border
3. Mandatory GPS monitoring for all parolees and probationers
4. Mandatory drug testing for those receiving Welfare and other public assistance
5. Increased efforts to crack down on drugged driving
6. Agencies to create a state-wide, annual, anti-drug strategy
7. Increased youth and parental drug education programs
8. Student drug testing
9. Volunteer anti-drug coalitions in all 58 counties
10. Performance review of state funded drug treatment, prevention, education and enforcement

Chabot, a former White House Drug Czar Senior Advisor, who is authoring a book on drug cartels and serves as a reserve narcotics law enforcement officer, is the founder of the Inland Valley Drug Free Community Coalition and the Coalition for a Drug Free California. Chabot is a founding member of a bipartisan state-wide task force fighting to defeat drug legalization efforts on this November ballot.
